23/01/11 Folkestone Invicta U11's 'A' 6 Ashford Borough 1

Invicta got back to winning ways, after losing their last two games, with a convincing win.

After going one down after just five mins, it took one min for them to be on level terms after Reeves sidefooted an easy pass in to the net. Six mins later Man of the Match Hastings found his fierce shot parried for Reeves to tap in his second. Five mins from the end of the first half Invicta scored two quick goals, Hasting's scored his first after a through ball from T. Jones put him clear, the other was Reeves third for his hat-trick.

The second half was a tighter affair with Ashford keen not to concede anymore, but five mins in I Jones played a lovely ball over the Ashford defence for Hastings to run on to and slide past the oncoming keeper. T Jones scored the sixth with fifteen mins to go. Great team performance by all.

26/10/10 Chartham U11's 2 Folketone Invicta 'A' U11's 3

Invicta's winning streak continued after a close fought battle at Chartham. After some early pressure from Invicta, the home team thought they had scored first but it was ruled offside. That seemed to give Folkestone the wake up they needed, with Reeves scoring for Invicta. The vistors couldn't build on that lead and Chartham equalised five minutes later.

The second half Reeves scored again to give Folkestone the lead but again could not hold on for long, before Chartham made it 2-2. Invicta then chased for the winner with shots from Smith, T Jones and Whitby.

Then with five minutes to go a great cross from I Jones found Reeves and Kirkin to put the ball home.

03/10/10 Ashford Borough 2 Folkestone Invicta Youth 'A' 4

Folkestone got back to wining ways sunday with a great team performance in testing condtions. Invicta opend the scoring with Reeves poking home from inside the box. Invicta piled on the pressure and dominated the midfield. Kirkin burst through and lobed the keeper from just inside the box for Invictas second. Captain Lynch added the third from insde the box with a poweful volley to the keepers bottom corner.

The secound half saw more Invicta pressure, which paid off 10 minutes into the half when Reeves followd up a shot, to add to his first. Ashford had a bit of pressure when they crossed to the far post and was unmarked to makee it 4-1. Ashford then scored from a penalty, after the ball was handled in the box. A good defensive display by Wust then saw the game out.

26/09/10 Folkestone Invicta youth 'A' 2 Sandwich 2

Folkestone Invicta had to settle for a point in the pouring rain. Invicta never really got going in the awful weather, but did get the break through when Reeves followed up a shot on goal when the Sandwich keeper parried it and scored a good goal. The game was a midfield battle with very few chances but Invicta were sloppy at the back and a unmarked midfielder scored for Sandwich. Sandwich then took comand of the game and if it wasn't for Robertson in goal pulling off unberlivable saves from three one on one situations Invicta could have been in trouble.

The second half was mostly played in midfield with neither keeper having much to do. Smith then scored from outside the box to make it 2-1 with 3 minutes to go but Invicta failed to mark properly from a throw in and Sandwich scored.

19/09/10 Margate Youth u11's 0 Folkestone Invicta Youth 'A' u11's 9

Folkestone Invicta maintained their impressive start, with a 9-0 win away to Margate. Invicta dominated the first half, but could only find the net twice, Jones scoring from the penalty spot and a Hastings cross come shot sailing over the Margate keeper.

Invicta made their dominance pay in the second half, Jones made it 3-0, quickly followed by Invicta's fourth. King added to the scoreline with a great strike in to the top corner. A moment of madness in the Margate defence gave Invicta their second penalty, but the keeper denied Jones his hat trick from the spot kick. Kirkin burst down the left wing and scored from inside the box, Lynch added another when he caught Margate's defence off guard to run through and score Invicta's seventh. Smith scored his first with a simple tap in.The final goal was a fantasic 30 yard free kick from a tight angle to give Jones his hat trick that he deserved.

Overall a great team perfromance.

12/09/10 Folkestone Invicta Youth 'A' 7 Hugin Vikings 2

Folkestone Invicta U11's first game of the season, started slowly and were one nil down after six mins after the visitors initial shot was parried well by Jake Robertson but unluckly fell to a oncoming striker. It was not long before Invicta took the lead with two goals in two mins. A pin point through ball allowed Kai Reeves to score his first goal, quickly followed by Keaton Whitby's goal.

A great run and cross from Josh Hastings, gave Kai the chance to poke the ball home to make it 3-1. Invicta failed to clear their lines just before the break, and were punished when Hugin Vikings pulled another goal back. In the secound half the game was evenly matched for 15 minutes before Kai completed his hatrick. Ieuan Jones added a fifth, with a screaming 25yrd freekick. Josh then earned a freekick and stepped up to score. Invicta's final goal came from a looping cross by Oliver King that was tapped in by Josh on the goal line. A fantastic perfomance by all the team.
