Re-joined the club in December 2008 from Chatham Town, having previously had a spell during the 2002-03 season. He had then signed from Gravesend & Northfleet, where he was a member of their Ryman Premier League winning side.

A box-to-box midfielder, Darren can play in a number of positions and has also previously played for Sittingbourne, Eastbourne Borough, Burgess Hill, Town, Tonbridge Angels and Maidstone United.

Won goal of the season in 2009-10 for a strike against Ramsgate and was top goalscorer for the club last season.

Has now made over 100 starting appearances for the club.
