Re-joined the club from Maidstone United during the summer of 2010. Had originally joined the club during the summer of 2007 when he was immediately made captain.

A left-sided player who had been out of the game after his professional career was curtailed by injury.

He joined his hometown club Gillingham as a 16-year-old and made 116 starting appearances for the club, with a further ten as a substitute, and scoring one Football League goal between the 1997-98 and 2002-03 seasons.

He then joined Hibernian, for whom he made 24 appearances during the 2003-04 season. Roland
then concluded his professional career at Hull City, making 24 starting appearances and a
further one as a substitute over the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.

Has now made 50 starting appearances for the club.
