Latest News from FISC:

At our meeting for November the following items were discussed:

PAY FOR  A PLAYER

This new idea was working well with £70 a week being given to the manager for help with the playing budget.

The committee thanked Paul Sly for all his effort and Sam Jones for the web site efforts in promoting this fundraiser.

Clive reported that the monies had gone into the Goalkeeping budget.

FLOODLIGHTS

Phil Orris reported that all outstanding invoices had been received and will be paid.

The pylon by the changing room had been completely refurbished and now works independently.  It now enables the club to save power by only having one set of lights on for functions in the bar.

MOWER

Service now complete and invoice paid.

XMAS DRAW

Tickets go on sale NOW - only £1 - great prizes. First prize DVD recorder and usual Xmas Goodies

Date of Draw - after Horsham (home) - 15 December.

Time will be tight as we have lost one home game.

CLUB SHOP

It was decided that a change was needed in the shop - we have now settled in following the move to the larger unit.

Geoff Senior is to take over the running of the shop and we will order some new items, for example, mugs.

We have been let down by suppliers over the last two years and it is hoped a fresh approach will work.

Justin and Ian were thanked for sorting out the programmes - Justin will continue to 'eBay' for us.

The shop will shut at 2.55 and open at Half time and Full time.

A detailed stock control system will also be introduced.

New Polo Shirts have also just arrived. Shirts and Jackets on order.

CANS

Ken Arnold reported that donations are up with £45 raised this season

SPONSOR A GOAL

Richard Murrill's fundraising scheme is still growing. For only 50p per league goal scored in the month you can win a good prize. To join, see Richard at the match. This raised over £1000 last year!

FINANCE

Good due to the Pay for a Player scheme this year, with over £2000 in the bank (after all bills paid).
