Profile - Joined the club in September 2006 after several months out of the game. Jimmy originally joined Gillingham as a YTS in the late 1990s and made his debut at Burnley in August 1997 just a month after his 17th birthday as a second half substitute for Ade Akinbiyi. He made his first start at home to Bristol City, against whom he scored his first Football League goal in the return game at Ashton Gate.

He joined Blackburn for £525,000 in 1998 but his time at the Premiership club was plagued by injuries. He later went on loan to Portsmouth before joining Southend United. He has also had spells with Dagenham & Redbridge, Margate and Heybridge Swifts.
