The return of Headfunk!
Author: Sam Jones
Published: 22nd October, 2008

HEADFUNK return with their first live appearance for five years when they play at Stripes Club in Folkestone on Saturday November 1st.

Originally formed in 1994, Headfunk re-create and modernise classic funk, soul, disco and jazz-funk songs from the 60s right the way through to modern day, creating a party atmosphere at all live performances. Think Stevie Wonder, Kool & The Gang, Commodores, Joe Tex, Curtis Mayfield and James Taylor Quartet.

Doors open at 8pm and it goes on until 1am. Music also comes from Al Starsky & Atomicmorris.

Admission is £5.
