Following a visit from The Licence Department of Shepway District Council, we have been asked to enforce membership arrangements for use of Stripes Club. From this weekend therefore, on non-match days everyone must be a member to use the facility.

Membership (including automatic membership of Folkestone Invicta Supporters Club) is £5.00 a year and can be arranged via Jane Smith.

For those who do not wish to become annual members, you will be required to sign in on each visit at a cost of £1.00 per visit. This will also apply to guests of members.

Stripes Club has this season had brand new TVs installed, along with a complete Sky HD system.

Sky states that HD television "improves the quality of the picture by up to four times that of normal television" - this upgrade provides a sharp picture on the new 65” plasma TV which has been installed in the front (Cheriton Road) bar at Stripes.

A smaller plasma TV has also been installed onto the wall next to the bar for improved viewing from any location within Stripes.

This ensures that our fans can enjoy probably the best combination of TVs and Sky HD - meaning the best coverage of live sport in Folkestone.

With these quality additions, Stripes Club is now THE place for live football and other sports on the TV.
