CHARLIE MITTEN
Goalkeeper

Woolwich-born goalkeeper who joined the club during the summer of 2007 from Margate, for whom he had enjoyed four spells. Began his career with Kent League club Thamesmead Town and then moved to Dover Athletic in March 1996.

He joined Margate for the first time on a loan spell during the 1996-97 season. He was signed by Gillingham in October 1999 and made one first team appearance before being released at the end of 2000-01. Charlie re-joined Margate for the 2001-02 season and after leaving Kent for a few months due to work commitments he started his third spell with Margate during the early part of 2002-03.

He joined Gravesend & Northfleet in February 2004 before signing for Welling in November 2004, from whom he re-joined Margate during the summer of 2005.
