A 45 th minute goal from James Everitt took Folkestone Invicta back to the top of the Ryman League Division One South in Neil Cugley's side's first game since the ten points were officially taken away after the club entered into a CVA arrangement.
EVERITT scored the only goal of the game at the Champion Hill Stadium on Tuesday night when he volleyed in after a cross from left back Josh Burchell who had capitalised on a slip in the Dulwich defence.
This was a fourth win for Invicta in six successive away matches and leading marksman Everitt has now scored the winning goal in three of Invicta's last five matches, including the last two.
The Folkestone club has now won 20 of its 28 league matches so far this season, 15 of them by a single goal margin and nine of them 1-0.
Invicta fielded the same starting eleven for a 17 th consecutive league match, although that incredible run will come to an end at the weekend as striker Simon Austin misses the next three games through suspension after his recent sending off at Sittingbourne.
The visitors enjoyed the better of the first half on a very heavy pitch as Darren Smith warmed the hands of debutant Dulwich goalkeeper Jack Binks on loan from Charlton Athletic with an eighth minute shot from outside the penalty area after a ball from captain Micheal Everitt.
Dulwich's Nicolas Pulmain then made a vital 12 th minute clearance when Burchell played the ball in from the left hand side after a Smith ball and players were poised in the middle of the penalty area.
A 28 th minute Smith free kick then flew just in front of centre half Liam Friend in the middle of the penalty area and out for a goal kick.
At the other end, Sol Pinnock took the ball on a minute later and hit a low shot just wide of the far post from outside the penalty area.
Invicta were close again on the half hour mark when a poor clearance gave the ball to James Everitt and a Smith shot came off Micheal Everitt and out for a goal kick.
Pinnock was Dulwich's most dangerous player and volleyed wide when under pressure from Jimmy Jackson in the 36 th minute after combining with Roy Odiaki.
But Everitt's eighth goal of the season was to take Invicta in ahead at the interval and was ultimately to prove decisive.
Pinnock shot wide for Dulwich in the 59 th minute with another strike from just outside the penalty area after combining with Odiaki again and home player-manager Gavin Rose then received the ball from Pinnock and his cross was headed wide by Kalvin Morath Gibbs.
But Invicta were desperately close to increasing their lead in the 64 th minute when home centre half Justin Bowen got back to clear off the line at the expense of a corner to deny James Everitt another goal after he capitalised on a ball over the defence from Frankie Chappell (right).
The home side pressed for an equaliser but Invicta again produced their now customary dogged defending, throwing bodies in the way whenever and wherever necessary.
Goalkeeper Jack Delo was called into action in the 77 th minute when he got down to save a low shot from substitute Ellis Wilson-Joseph who let fly from just outside the penalty area after receiving the ball from captain Juniro Kadi.
But there was to be no way through for Dulwich who have now failed to score on all four occasions that they have met Invicta in the Ryman League.
There were bookings for Dulwich's Kevin James and Pinnock and for Invicta's Burchell.
