Neil Cugley NEIL CUGLEY (Manager): Now in his eighth season in charge at Folkestone Invicta, Neil has also managed Ashford Town, Folkestone Town and Hythe Town. As a player, Neil had three spells at Folkestone Town. Having started his career as a centre half, he then played for Dartford and Margate before returning to Folkestone as a centre forward. During his second spell he broke the club's goalscoring record with 46 goals in the 1982-83 season. Whilst at Dartford., Neil made such an impact on the supporters that when the old ground was built on, one of the roads around where the ground used to be, became named after him. At Ashford he led the club into the First Round Proper of the F. A. Cup three times and the Second Round once. Neil managed the Dr Martens League X1 against an F. A. X1 at Crawley's Broadfield Stadium on his 45th birthday back in November 2001.

DAVE WILLIAMS (Assistant Manager): Dave followed manager Neil Cugley to Folkestone Invicta as assistant manager, having been Neil's right hand man at Ashford Town. In his playing days, Dave represented Folkestone, Dover, Hythe Town and Whitstable Town.





SCOTT LINDSEY (Player-Coach): A much-travelled, experienced campaigner who joined the club from Welling United during the summer of 2002 and has since made over 100 appearances for the club. Scott began his career with Scunthorpe United before moving into non-league football with Goole, Stafford Rangers, Burton Albion, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield Town and Bridlington Town. He moved south in 1994 and resumed his Football League career with Gillingham, making 14 appearances. Scott has since played for Leyton Orient, Dover Athletic, Gravesend & Northfleet, Canvey Island and Welling. He captained the Gravesend side which beat Invicta 3-0 in the 2000 Kent Senior Cup Final and took up the role of coach during the summer of 2003. Date of birth: May 4, 1972.

ANDREW BURKE (Midfield): A technically gifted player who spent seven years as a youngster at Tottenham from the age of 11 and another two years at Bristol City. He represented Republic of Ireland youths under present national team boss Brian Kerr. Date of birth: January 9, 1983.


MARTIN CHANDLER (Midfield): Martin originally progressed from the club�s youth set up before being signed by West Ham United. Before being released in 2001, he was part of the Hammers� squad which beat Coventry City 9-0 on aggregate in the 1999 F. A. Youth Cup Final and travelled with the first team for the 1999 InterToto Cup Final. A creative midfield player, he made his full debut for Invicta in the club�s 2-0 win away to Burton Albion during February 2000. Has now made over 150 appearances for the club. Date of birth: January 9, 1983.



LUKE COLEMAN (Striker): Top scorer for the club�s Under 16 side last season which reached the national final of the British Lions Club Cup. Luke scored twice in the club�s 6-0 F. A. Cup rout at Raynes Park Vale in the 1st Qualifying Round to become the club�s youngest ever scorer in the F. A. Cup at the age of just 16 years 49 days � he is also believed to be the youngest ever player to score twice in a game in the world�s most famous knockout competition. Made his senior debut as a substitute at the start of September. Date of birth: August 1, 1988.



JAMES DRYDEN (Striker): James is a skilful forward player who progressed into the first team squad from the reserves and made his full Southern League debut at Burnham during December 1999. He is a strong, all-action striker who was the Supporters� Player of the Year last season with 24 goals in all competitions, an award he also won in 2001-02 when he finished as the club�s top goalscorer. Jim once completely turned a youth team game around with a hat-trick in the last five minutes against a Furness youth side managed by current Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler. Broke the club�s senior appearance record when he made his 224th starting appearance in the home game against Hampton & Richmond during January and is now closing in on the club�s all-time senior goalscoring record of 88 goals. Date of birth: February 4, 1980.

WILL DUNLOP (Defender): Teenage, old-fashioned centre half who came into the side at the start of 2005. Made his first starting appearance in the Bryco Cup quarter final at Heybrdige Swifts and first starting league appearance in the next match at Hendon.



JAMES EVERITT (Defender/Midfield): Youngster who has come through the youth ranks and who made his first team debut as a substitute at home to Cheshunt in November 2004. Date of birth: May 17, 1987.

MICHEAL EVERITT (Midfield): Local player who always gives 100%. Micheal had trials at both West Ham and Southampton and came through the successful youth system at Invicta, where he captained the side who played away to Millwall youths in the 2nd Round of the F. A. Youth Cup in 1999-2000. He made his Dr Martens League debut that season and has now made his 100th starting appearance for the club at Eastleigh in September.. Has also had a loan spell at Sittingbourne, where he was captain during the 2001-02 season. The Manager�s Player of the Year for the past two seasons. Date of birth: October 16, 1982.



Adam Flanagan ADAM FLANAGAN (Defender): Defender who joined the club during the summer of 2003 from Hastings United. A former trainee with Gillingham, he joined St Leonards from Dagenham & Redbridge in December 1997. He subsequently made the short move to Hastings at the start of the 2001-02 season and finished his first campaign at the club with an Eastern Division championship-winning medal. Adam is the son of former England youth international and Charlton Athletic striker Mike Flanagan, who made over 450 Football League appearances. Adam is a former Player of the Year at both Hastings and St Leonards and was Invicta�s Players� Player of the Year last season. Date of birth: September 6, 1977.



SIMON GLOVER (Striker): A summer signing from Dover Athletic, Simon is a very quick attacking player who has also played for Welling United and had a loan spell at Ashford Town towards the end of last season. Simon is the son of former Welling stalwart John Glover. Date of birth: May 3, 1982.







JOHN GUEST (Defender): A quick central defender who joined the club from Sittingbourne during September 2002 and made great progress last season. John has previously had spells with Nottingham Forest, Charlton Athletic and Gillingham. A quick defender was now made over 100 appearances for the club. Date of birth: January 7, 1982.






TONY KESSELL (Goalkeeper): An ever present who played in all of the club�s 61 games last season after joining the club during the summer of 2003. Tony represented Gravesham District, Kent County and South East England Schools as a schoolboy and joined Charlton Athletic as a YTS for two years. He then joined Hastings, where he stayed for three seasons, making 150 appearances before joining Dartford in August 2001. He rejoined Hastings towards the end of the 2001/02 season but returned to Dartford in September 2002. Tony can also count Cray Wanderers amongst his list of clubs. Date of birth: October 4, 1979.



PAUL LAMB (Defender): Joined the club during November 2003 from Maidstone United, whom he had joined earlier in the season from Margate. He had re-joined Margate in July 1997 after a long spell with Gravesend & Northfleet and was a member of the Margate side which won the Dr Martens League Premier Division in 2000-01. Paul was a member of the Gravesend side which played away to Aston Villa in the F. A. Cup during the 1995-96 season and has also played for Ramsgate and Dartford. Has made over 50 appearances for the club. Date of birth: April 19, 1973.



STUART MYALL (Midfield): Joined Invicta from Conference South club Eastbourne Borough during March 2005, having also played for Ringmer this season. Stuart began his career with Brighton & Hove Albion and joined Hastings Town in 1998 after being released by Brentford. He joined Eastbourne from Hastings United during the 2003/04 season. Can also play in defence. Date of birth: November 12, 1974.



DAN MORRIN (Goalkeeper): Young custodian who joined the club during the summer from Maidstone United. Date of birth: September 1, 1986.






MARK MUNDAY (Midfield): A summer 2003 signing from Margate, where he helped the side win the Premier Division and promotion to the Nationwide Conference in 2000-01. Mark rejoined Margate in 1997 from Gravesend & Northfleet, after also having a spell with Herne Bay. His other former clubs include Ramsgate and he spent the end of last season on loan at Dover Athletic. Mark has a good pedigree in the F. A. Cup, having played for Gravesend away to Aston Villa in the Third Round during the 1995-96 season and gave Margate the lead in their First Round tie at home to Fulham during the 1997-98 season. That season also saw Margate win both the Southern League Cup and the Kent Senior Cup. Mark was also a member of their Southern Division promotion-winning side of 1998-99. His brother John played for Invicta during the 1995-96 season. Date of birth: February 17, 1971.




JOE NEILSON (Midfield / Striker): Teenager who made his first appearance as a substitute in the home game against Cheshunt during November. Has great pace and is one for the future. Date of birth: August 16, 1986.


STEVE NORMAN (Defender): Joined the club in November 2004 from Chelmsford City. He had joined the Essex club from Dover Athletic in the summer of 2003, having gained plenty of Conference experience. Has previously bee at Gillingham and St Leonards. Was joint top goalscorer with Chelmsford during the 2003-04 season. Date of birth: January 30, 1979.


PAUL SYKES (Striker): Joined the club in November 2004 from Dartford. Originally an apprentice at Gillingham, Paul then made his name at then Conference club Welling United. He joined Margate during the 1995/96 season and soon established himself as the club�s leading scorer as he was a member of the side which won promotion from the Dr Martens League Southern Division and then won the Premier Division in 2000-01. After recovering from some serious injuries, he joined Dartford during the 2002-03 season and subsequently had a spell with Dover Athletic before returning to the Darts. Paul also had a spell on loan at Invicta midway through the 1995-96 season. Date of birth: November 8, 1976.


SHANE SPEARPOINT (Midfield): Another member of last season�s successful Under 16 side, Shane made his senior debut as a substitute at home to Wealdstone a fortnight ago. Date of birth: December 6, 1987.



JOHN WALKER (Defender): John has come through the youth and reserve team ranks to force his way into the first team squad. He came on as an early substitute to play virtually a full game at Newport (Isle of Wight) back in March 2004 and made his full debut at Histon on Easter Saturday. Was rewarded with a contract at the end of last season. Date of birth: July 18, 1984.





KEVIN WATSON (Defender): Joined the club in October 204 from Welling United, having earlier played against Invicta this season for Chelmsford City back in August. A former Charlton Athletic schoolboy, youth and reserve team defender, he enjoyed three highly successful seasons with Team Bath, scoring 20 goals when they won the Screwfix Direct Western League Premier Division in 2002/03. Kevin has been capped for both the England Students and British Universities teams. Date of birth: May 28, 1981.
